Two little theropods, mainly insectivorous, hunt their meal in the underbrush of a Patagonian forest, 100 million years ago. One of them stares intently at a juicy-looking beetle crawling along the leaf of a small bush. Focussing on its prey, it misses what its companion does not: a huge Giganotosaurus is also on the prowl. These two may be too small to attract its notice - or perhaps not...
For better or for worse, others have stepped into the dinosaur-modelling gap I created when I got 'distracted' by the passing of my father, immediately followed by my own crippling accident. Over the past few months, Vairesh has created a few new ones. Now that I'm pretty much recovered, and armed with some brand new modelling software, we'll have to see whether there's any room left in the niche for me! Stay tuned...
