- Bryce Challenge - Mirrored Abstract - Primary Nexus -

The Bryce List Challenge for September 2004 was to use a mirrored plane (or multiples) to create an abstract shape.

I was intrigued, but too busy with some client work during the month; so I made this one, a little late...

Just a number of tori, replicated and textured, reflected in both a vertical and horizontal plane. The entire scene is set within a larger torus with a mirror texture, setting up the reflections behind the main group; and illuminated with 3 spotlights, one each of red, blue, and yellow - these primary colours giving rise to the title of the piece...

But I can never leave well enough alone, so I put a mysterious humanoid figure in as well, for interest. I blended 2 versions of the image, one with the figure and her light, one without...
